About Us

Founded in 2014 by Dr. Tej Raj Joshi, Khaptad Organic Nepal (KON) is a Government of Nepal-registered private limited company inspired by the pristine landscapes of Khaptad National Park. Nestled in the lush heart of the Himalayas, we cultivate, research, and produce Ayurvedic beauty, health, and dietary supplement products that are as pure as their origin.

Our organic farmland spans approximately 45 acres (182,109 sq. m), where fruits, vegetables, and medicinal herbs are grown in harmony with nature and agroforestry principles. Every ingredient is nurtured without compromise — from soil to product.

Horticulture

Our orchards produce a rich variety of citrus fruits including lemon, orange, sweet orange, and sweet lemon — alongside a diverse range of other fruits such as pomegranate, avocado, plum, grapes, and sugarcane. All crops are grown organically, free from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, preserving both nutritional integrity and ecological balance.

Rooted in Community

Beyond beauty and wellness, KON actively supports agro, spiritual, and eco-tourism — and believes in the power of public-private participation to uplift rural communities. We work directly with farmer groups in the Jumla and Bajhang districts of Nepal, helping raise the socioeconomic status of local farming families through organic cultivation of profitable cash crops and herbs.
